Chaviarte followed the rules laid down by the General Directorate of Health and on March 18 decided to close most of its stores and telework employees from its central facilities. It was a measure for the safety of all those who make this brand a benchmark in the security products, systems and services sector on a daily basis.

But the decision was unanimous from the outset: in an emergency situation, Chaviarte's national hotline must continue to be available to Portuguese people who lock their doors and leave their keys inside, lose their house keys, have faulty locks that put the safety of their homes at risk, lose their car keys or have them break down, as well as companies that have closed their doors or are working in a different situation to usual and need to be protected.

Chaviarte has opened a new store in the historic Portuguese town of Grândola. Located in the Continente Shopping Center, the new store is equipped with products and professionals ready to offer more security to the population of the Portuguese town.

Safes, High Security Doors and Locks, Digital Locks, Alarms, Key Duplication, Duplication and Programming of Car Controls, Ignition Repairs are some of the services provided at this store, which also has professionals available for Door Opening and Home Services throughout the town and surrounding areas.

Chaviarte has taken the first step towards internationalization with the opening of the first Chaviarte & MultiExpress store in Angola. In operation since May of this year, the store has already welcomed dozens of customers and is making a positive assessment of the first few months of operation.

This store paves the way for professionalization

Chaviarte recently renewed its presence in two locations in the country. Grateful for the trust that franchisees Rui Loureiro and Filipe Carola have placed in its brand and the know-how it has passed on, Chaviarte continues to be present from North to South with more than 45 stores.

The day of the contract renewal signing was also marked by a training session given to several franchisees at Chaviarte's headquarters in Vila Nova de Gaia.

The aid went to The Big Hand Association, which operates in Mozambique with the aim of protecting and educating underprivileged children from various communities in the region.
